Chart Screenshot
Instantly capture any chart as a high-DPI PNG image. The screenshot is saved to disk and copied to your clipboard in one action — perfect for journaling, sharing setups on Discord, or archiving trades.
01 — Taking a Screenshot
Two ways to capture the active chart window:

Keyboard Shortcut
Press Ctrl + Shift + S while the chart window is focused.

Toolbar Button
Click the camera icon in the chart's title-bar menu (NTBar). The button appears automatically on every chart once the addon is loaded.
No properties panel: Chart Screenshot is an addon, not a drawing tool. It has no NinjaScript properties to configure — it works out of the box.
02 — Output & Clipboard
Each capture produces two outputs simultaneously:

| Clipboard | The image is automatically copied to your clipboard so you can instantly Ctrl+V paste into Discord, Telegram, a journal app, or any image editor. |
Tip: A subtle system sound plays on successful capture so you get audible confirmation without looking at the Output Window.
03 — Changing the Save Folder

Click the Folder Icon
Next to the camera icon in the chart's title bar, click the folder icon .

Browse to Your Preferred Folder
A standard Windows folder-picker dialog opens. Navigate to where you want screenshots saved and click Select Folder.

Done — Persisted Automatically
Your choice is saved and remembered across NinjaTrader sessions.
